15th Jadhaga Parivarthanai Mela

15th Jadhaga Parivarthanai Mela was held on Sunday the 11th September 2011 at Kumara Vyasa Mantapa, 6th Main, Opp. Spandana Nursing Home, 4th Block, Rajajinagar, Bangalore - 560 010.
Sri C.R. Sathyakumar, Committee Member of KUSO sang a prayer song. Sri T.S. Jayabalan, General Secretary, KUSO announced the commencement of 'Mela'. In front of the well decorated photo of Sriman Natanagopala Nayagi Swamigal, the lighting of the lamp ceremony was held. Smt. Mahalaxmi Sivakumar, Chennai, Smt P.G. Manjula Gopinath, Bangalore, Smt. Vijaya Rengan, Salem, Smt. Gunavati Purushottaman, Madurai and Smt. Valarmathi Ramamurthy, Trichy had lighted the lamp.

Sri V.G. Gopalakrishnan, President, KUSO presided over the gathering. Prof. N. Vasu, Vice-President, KUSO in his welcome address explained to the audience the procedures to be followed in the process of the Mela. While the registration of horoscopes of Nowran and Nowrin was commenced in the registration counter, tea was offered to our guests (parents and their children) as a refreshment by 11-00 am. K.V. Pathy, Advisor, KUSO, R.N. Sadasivan, Editor, Voice of KUSO, K.R. Kalidass, Ex-Committee Member, Committee Members R.R. Baskar,
C.R. Sathyakumar, K.K. Gopinath, P.M. Balaji and were seen busy in the Nowran, Nowrin registration counters respectively.

R.N. Sadasivan, Editor, Voice of KUSO, V.G. Ravi, Internet & Computer and K.R. Sridhar were seen in the processing counter assisting the parents in filling the application forms.

Sri T.S. Jayabalan General Secretary, and Sri P.R. Gopinath, Secretary announced the details of horoscope of Nowran and Nowrin and introduced the parents of the prospective brides and grooms to the audience.

By 2-00 pm lunch announced. After the lunch the remaining horoscope details of Nowrin and Nowran were announced on the stage.

Sri K.R. Shridhar and P.M. Balaji invited the parents one after the other and handed over the copies of horoscopes they wanted.
Sri P.R. Surendran our Astrologer sitting in a separate counter, was seen surrounded by the parents for consultation. (horaaT kagO dobbi dobbi jaariyo; rovvo paan sii sango ayyaanu!) It is to be noted that two sets of parents were discussing with our astrologer
Sri P.R. Surendran upon the unusal delay in settling alliance for their
son - daughter for which Sri Surendran was seen very seriously explaining to them on the position of the stars in their horoscopes.

Evening tea and Bhajji were offered to our visitors - parents at 4-00 pm. Some of them were seen leaving the hall with smiling face after receiving the copies of horoscopes they wanted.

The 15th Mela was concluded with vote of thanks by Sri P.M. Balaji
at 5-00 pm.
