The 2th Jadhaga Parivarthanai Mela conducted by KUSO Marriage Bureau was held on Sunday, 23.03.2014 at 10.30 am at Kumara Vyasa Mandapam, Rajajinagar 4th Block, Bangalore - 560010.

With the prayer song by Smt. Saroja, KUSO Gen. Secretary Sri T.S. Jayabalan announced the start of the proceedings of the Mela. Smt. Malini, Madurai, Smt. Chandra, Chennai, Smt. Kumuda, Trichy, Smt. Saranya, Salem and Smt. Gowri, Kolar had lighted the lamp to symbolize the commencement.

KUSO President Sri V.G. Gopalakrishnan, being the chairperson of the mela, explained the purpose of this Jadhaga Parivarthanai Mela in brief and made an appeal to the parents to follow simple formalities in settling the marriage alliance for their wards to avoid unnecessary delay and insisted to forget the minor differences existing among themselves in various towns and cities and requested to come closer to each other to reach early marriage settlements among themselves.

A large number of applicants, most of them are graduates, working in public sector, govt. and private institutions, had participated with their parents. KUSO Advisor Sri K.V. Pathy, Former President Sri K.R. Kalidoss, Vice-President Sri B.R. Surendran, Treasurer Sri K.K. Devadoss Babu, Joint Treasurer Sri R.R. Baskar, Secretary Sri B.V. Srinivasan, Committee Members viz., Sri T.V. Surendran, Sri R.K. Sridhar, Sri V.G. Gridharan, Sri R. Krishnakumar, Sri P.M. Balaji, Sri N. Saravanan, Sri K.K. Gopinath, Madurai Committee Members viz., Sri N.S.R. Santharam and Sri M.V. Mohanram, Smt. Manjula Gopinath, Smt. Yogeshwari Nagaraj, Smt. Subhapriya Krishnakumar and Smt. Priya Ganesan had taken active participation in this Mela process viz., management of registration counters, assisting the stage management and lunch distribution.

Sri T.S. Jayabalan, Gen. Secretary and Sri P.R. Gopinath, Joint Secretary announced the details of horoscopes of Nowrin and Nowran registered in this Mela and introduced them on the stage along with their parents simultaneously.

After the lunch interval, upon getting the copies of horoscopes they preferred, the parents utilized the services of Sri P.R. Surendran, KUSO's official astrologer for matching purposes. Certain parents were seen discussing among themselves after the matching process.

We observed that the parents who had come from Bangalore, Mangalore, Hosur, Madurai, Dindigul, Trichy, Salem, Chennai, Kumbakonam, Tribuvanam, Rasipuram (Namakkal), Chinna Kanchipuram, Coimbatore, Kolar, Kollam, Ayyampettai (Tanjore), Palayamkottai (Tiruvelveli), Walajapet and Paramakudi had registered the horoscopes of their children. Parents of applicants who live/work in the U.S.A., Japan, Quatar, Singapore and Dubai were also available in the Mela hall.

Morning refreshments vadai and coffee and evening refreshments mixture and tea were provided to our visitor-parents and their children. Mid - day Lunch sponsored and offered by the family of Sri P.B. Gangaram, an entrepreneur from Salem. P.K. Gopi Readymade Samayal Kuzhu had prepared and provided the Lunch to the satisfaction of the participants in the Mela. With the vote of thanks by Sri P.M. Balaji, KUSO Committee Member, the 20th Jadhaga Parivarthanai Mela came to a close.

Vadai and coffee as morning refreshments, mid-day lunch and mixture and tea as evening refreshments were provided to our visiting parents and their children.

With the vote of thanks by Committee Member Sri P.M. Balaji, the 21st Jadhaga Parivarthanai Mela was disbursed.
