21st JADHAGA PARIVARTHANAI MELA

The 21st Jadhaga Parivarthanai Mela conducted by KUSO Marriage Bureau was held on Sunday, 22.03.2015 at 10.30 am at Kumara Vyasa Mandapam, Rajajinagar 4th Block, Bangalore.

With the prayer song by Sri P.M. Balaji, Committee Member, General Secretary Sri T.S. Jayabalan declared the commencement of the proceedings of the mela. Initially amongst the parents who joined us in this Mela, Smt. T. Indirani, Salem, Smt. Uma Gridharan, Bangalore, Smt. G. Kanthimathi, Paramakudi, Smt. P. Bhagyalakshmi, Arni and Smt. Rajeswari, Chennai lighted the lamp.

KUSO President Sri V.G. Gopalakrishnan, being the chairperson of the mela, explained the purpose of this Jadhaga Parivarthanai Mela in brief and made an appeal to the parents to follow simple formalities in settling the marriage alliance for their wards to avoid unnecessary delay and insisted to forget the minor differences existing among themselves in various towns and cities and requested to come closer to each other to reach early marriage settlements among themselves.

We observed that most of the applicants in this mela are graduates, working in public sector, govt. and private establishments. General Secretary Sri T.S. Jayabalan and Joint Secretary Sri P.R. Gopinath, announced the details of horoscopes of Nowran and Nowrin in the mela while simultaneously introduced them on the stage along with their respective parents.

On the big size digital screen, the details of Nowran / Nowrin, viz., name, date of birth, Raasi, Natchathiram, educational qualification, employment and income details and their expectations from their incumbents were exhibited to enable the parents conveniently note down the details of horoscopes they wish to consider for their Nowran / Nowrin. Sri K.K. Tirumal Rao, Vice President, Sourashtra Madhya Sabha, from Salem, had honored us by joining in this mela and praised the sincere efforts taken by KUSO in getting suitable alliance for Sourashtra children. He also observed and praised KUSO Marriage Bureau on the systematic efforts and indicated that no such discipline is observed by other Sabhas.

KUSO Advisor Sri K.V. Pathy, former President Sri K.R. Kalidoss, Vice-President Sri B.R. Surendran, Treasurer Sri K.K. Devadoss Babu, Secretary Sri B.V. Srinivasan, Joint Secretary Sri R.K. Sridhar, 'SONNA KODUM' Editor Sri R.N. Sadasivan, Assistant Internet-Computer Operator Sri T.R. Rajesh Khanna, Committee Members, viz., Sri N.R. Viswanathan, Sri R.R. Baskar, Sri V.G. Gridharan, Sri R. Krishnakumar, Sri P.M. Balaji, Sri N. Saravanan, Sri K.K. Gopinath, Sri M.R. Nagarajan, Smt. Yogeshwari Nagarjan, Smt. Subapriya Krishnakumar, Smt. Ramila Devadoss Babu, Smt. Santhi Baskar and Smt. Aswini Gopinath were seen functioning in key positions of the Registration Counters to enable the visitor-parents to register the horoscopes of their wards.

After lunch and completion of the process of announcing the details of horoscopes on the stage, xerox copies of horoscopes were handed over to the parents as per their require. Later, they consulted with KUSO Astrologer Sri P.R. Surendran in matching the horoscopes. The parents so assembled were also seen discussing with their counter - parts in connection with marriage alliance.

It is observed that the parents who had participated in this mela were from New Delhi, Telungana - Hyderabad, Maharashtra - Thane, Bengalore, Kolar, Pollachi, Pudukkottai, Hosur, Madurai, Arni, Ooty, Trichy, Salem, Chennai, Kumbakaonam, Coimbatore, Paramakudi, Tirunelveli and Palayamkottai and had registered the horoscopes of their children. It is to be observed that the applicants who work in South Africa, America, Spain had also joined us in this mela.

Vadai and coffee as morning refreshments, mid-day lunch and mixture and tea as evening refreshments were provided to our visiting parents and their children.

With the vote of thanks by Committee Member Sri P.M. Balaji, the 21st Jadhaga Parivarthanai Mela was disbursed.
