The 28th Global Sourashtra Jadhaga Parivarthanai Mela

The 28th Global Sourashtra Jadhaga Parivarthanai Mela was held at Aaraadhana Hall of Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt (Temple), 1st Floor, Dr. Rajkumar Road, Near Navrang Theatre, 2nd Block, Rajajinagar, Bangalore-10 on Sunday, 09.09.2018 with large number of sourashtra parents with their children. We wish to highlight that we encourage second marriages, widow marriages and marriages for physically disabled through these Melas. It is therefore a good opportunity for sourashtra people to assemble in a place like this for the purpose of the marriage of their children avoiding the support of marriage brokers.

Sri J.K. Vijikumar of Sri Aadhiyandha Prabhu Astrology Research Centre, Madurai was available among us for matching the horoscopes. He briefed to the audience the matching process of horoscopes for marriage purpose.
Smt. M.P. Usha Parthasarathy from Madurai rendered prayer song to commence with the proceedings. Smt. M.S. Asha Suresh, Madurai, Smt. Swarna Raja, Bangalore, Smt. A.R. Shyamala, Kumbakonam, Smt. B. Chandra Sivaji, Salem, Smt. Kannamma Selvarajan, Pattukottai and Smt. Sridevi Niranjan, Kholikode had jointly lighted the lamp to inaugurate subsequent events.

KUSO President Sri V.G. Gopalakrishnan in his brief speech requested the parents to minimize the scrunity in order to speed up matching process. He insisted to conduct simple marriages.

KUSO General Secretary Sri T.S. Jayabalan briefed to the audience the main purpose of the Mela while explaining the achievements of KUSO for the community. Later, KUSO Vice President Sri R.K. Sridharan and Committee Member Sri P.R. Gopinath read out the details of horoscopes of Nowrin and Nowran registered in this Mela and introduced the parents with their boys/girls on the stage.

Baskar, Secretary Sri T.A. Pattabhiraman, Joint Internet Computer Operators Sri T.R. Rajesh Khanna, Smt. Yogeshwari Nagarajan, Committee Members, Sri P.R. Gopinath, Sri M.R. Nagarajan, Sri R. Krishnakumar,Sri B.K.M. Rajkumar, Sri S.K. Varadharajan, Sri P.M. Balaji, Sri P.M. Srinivas, Smt. Saroja Jayabalan, Smt. Kavitha Saravanan, Smt. Santhi Baskar, Smt. Subhashini Krishnakumar, Smt. Ashwini Gopinath, Smt. Manjula Gopinath and Smt. Jeyanthi Sridharan were very busy with their duties in assisting the vistors to fill the application forms and arranging lunch distribution process.

New Delhi Sourashtra Association President Sri Kishore Kumar and Sourashtra Madhya Sabha Gen Sec Sri NSR Santha ram (KUSO EC Member also) & Sri M.V. Mohanram, KUSO Madurai Committee Member had attended the Mela and decorated the stage.

The parents discussed with our Astrologer Sri J.K. Vijikumar in connection with the matching of horoscopes. It is to be noted that KUSO has made arrangements for the meeting of the parents for direct discussion with each other.

We highlight the remarkable services rendered by Smt. Yogeshwari Nagarajan, Committee Member and Internet Computer Operator Sri V.G. Ravindranath for more than 2 months for the successful conduct of this Mela.

It is also remarkable to state that the parents from South Africa, Gujarath (Bhopal), Telungana (Secunderabad), Pondicherry, Navi Mumbai, Karnataka (Mangalore & Bangalore), Tamil Nadu (VellankuLi (Nellai), Madurai, Dindigul, Kundha (Ooty), Coimbatore, Trichy, Salem, Thanjavur, Pudukottai, Thiruvappur, Ayyampettai, Hosur, Walajapettai, Chennai, Tirupur, Kumbakobnam, Paramakudi and from some other cities had come to register horoscopes. It is observed that some parents also had joined us to register the horoscopes of their nowrin/nowran who work in Singapore, Australia, Behrain, Kaddar and Soudi Arabia.

We take the opportunity to thank Sri Sudharsan (Sagar TV), Sri Suresh (Sky TV), Sri Malli Ravi (Krishna TV) and Salem Sri N.L. Nagarajan (Asoka & Shalini TV) for having advertised in their respective channels for this Mela.

We also thank the office bearers of various Sabhas and social workers who worked for pasting the posters and distributing leaflets on this Mela. All the visitor parents and their inmates were provided with morning tiffin, lunch and evening tea.
